GOAL gives donation

Tara Sheperd, left, member of the Community Bread Basket, was guest speaker during the May meeting of the group, Giving Ourselves Amazing Lives. The meeting at the Millsop Community Center discussed the importance of donating to the organization because of their focus on pursuing a healthy lifestyle, including the issue of weight loss. Jill Smith, GOAL team member, presented Sheperd with the group's donation. Those in attendance were educated about donations and what it means to the community. Sheperd's 20-year involvement allowed her to speak as to what those needs are and the needs which still have to be met. GOAL members stated they are committed to contributing monthly.
